Challenge: Give yourself 10 minutes a day for 30 days. No hero workouts. No overthinking. Just clean reps, one stick-skill focus at a time, and a scorecard you can actually finish.
This is built for players who want better hands, parents/coaches who want consistency without nagging, and lax people who do way more reps when it feels like a game.
How to win: show up, keep it simple, and keep score.
The 30-Day Wall Ball Rules (Keep It Honest, Keep It Fun)
- Time cap: 10 minutes (or ~150–250 touches). If you’re fired up, add more—just don’t make “more” the requirement.
- Gear check: stick, ball(s), wall. (Helmet/gloves optional depending on your space and comfort.)
- Safety & space: pick a safe wall and a clear area. If the surface is sketchy, crowded, or you’re near traffic/windows—switch spots.
- Reps > rocket shots: you’re training hands and release. Keep the pace controlled.
- Tracking: score yourself daily (scorecard below). Consistency beats “perfect.”
Scoring (Simple + Competitive)
Give yourself up to 10 points per day. Total possible: 300 points.
- 5 points: You showed up (10 minutes done).
- 3 points: You hit the day’s focus (you actually did the drill/constraint).
- 2 points: Clean reps bonus (you stayed controlled; didn’t just chuck it).
Optional spice: add a 60-second “perfect streak” at the end. If you drop it, reset the timer. Count your best streak each day.
The 30-Day Lacrosse Wall Ball Challenge (Daily Focus)
Each day has a focus and a simple constraint so you don’t drift into mindless throwing. If you’re newer: go slower and closer to the wall. If you’re advanced: back up, speed up, and demand cleaner catches.
Week 1: Hands Awake (Foundation + Feel)
- Day 1 – Strong hand only: throw/catch strong hand. Constraint: no cradle between catch and throw (quick stick).
- Day 2 – Off hand only: same deal. Constraint: soft hands—catch quiet, not slappy.
- Day 3 – Alternating hands: switch every rep. Constraint: set your feet for 5 reps, then go athletic for 5.
- Day 4 – Quick-stick ladder: 10 fast, 10 medium, 10 fast. Constraint: don’t drift—stay balanced.
- Day 5 – Catch across your body: receive slightly across your frame, then move it. Constraint: stick stays in front (no wild windups).
- Day 6 – High-to-low targets: aim higher on the wall, then lower. Constraint: same release point—don’t change your whole motion.
- Day 7 – Consistency day: your favorite from Week 1. Constraint: zero rage throws. Smooth and clean.
Week 2: Release Speed (Quick Decisions)
- Day 8 – One-cradle max: you get one cradle after the catch. Constraint: then it’s gone.
- Day 9 – No-cradle: catch → throw only. Constraint: don’t stab the ball; receive it.
- Day 10 – Two-spot passing: pick two wall “targets” (brick marks, tape dots). Alternate targets every rep.
- Day 11 – Off-hand quick stick: off hand only, no cradle. Yes, it’ll be messy. That’s the point.
- Day 12 – Change planes: alternate a flatter throw and a slightly higher throw. Constraint: same catch mechanics.
- Day 13 – Step-in reps: every throw, step into it. Constraint: quiet upper body; power comes from your base.
- Day 14 – Reset day: do Day 10 again. Beat your own accuracy.
Week 3: Control Under Pressure (Messy Ball on Purpose)
- Day 15 – “Bad pass” catches: intentionally vary your throw so the return is imperfect. Constraint: recover fast without panic.
- Day 16 – Back up a step: increase distance slightly. Constraint: catch first—don’t rush the throw.
- Day 17 – Side-step throws: small lateral step before each pass. Constraint: eyes up (don’t stare at your head).
- Day 18 – Split focus: alternate 5 strong / 5 off. Constraint: same tempo for both.
- Day 19 – Low catches: aim lower so you have to get down to it. Constraint: athletic stance, not bending at the waist.
- Day 20 – High catches: aim higher. Constraint: hands up early; don’t wait for it to hit you.
- Day 21 – Pressure test: set a 60-second timer and count clean catches. Repeat 3 times and record your best.
Week 4: Game-Speed Habits (Make It Look Like Lacrosse)
- Day 22 – “Dodge then dish” feel: one quick shoulder fake or foot move, then pass. Constraint: stick protected (tight to your frame).
- Day 23 – Catch & move: catch, take one step, throw. Constraint: no drifting backward.
- Day 24 – Inside hands day: keep hands in tight and compact. Constraint: short release.
- Day 25 – Off-hand accuracy: off hand only. Constraint: hit your target 5 times in a row before switching tempo.
- Day 26 – Fast hands finisher: 3 x 45 seconds quick stick, 15 seconds rest. Constraint: form doesn’t collapse.
- Day 27 – Mistake recovery: if you drop it, reset immediately and continue. Constraint: no sulking—next rep.
- Day 28 – Consistency flex: pick your weakest day from the month and run it again.
Days 29–30: The Two-Day “Prove It” Mini-Final
- Day 29 – The Accuracy Test: choose 2 targets on the wall. Goal: 50 total hits (count only clean hits). Record your time.
- Day 30 – The Clean Reps Test: set 10 minutes. Count clean catches (no bobbles). Try to beat Day 21’s best 60-second streak too.

- Buddy rule: you and one friend start the same day. Miss a day? You owe the other person a redo day.
- Team rule: everyone posts their daily score (just the number) in the team chat.
- Coach/parent rule: don’t coach every rep. Just ask: “Score today?” Consistency is the win.
Where Wall Baller Fits (If You Want This to Feel Like a Game)
If you’re the kind of person who does more reps when there’s a scoreboard… you’re our kind of person.
Play Wall Baller to turn your wall-ball time into a challenge you can run back, track, and talk trash about (nicely) with your people. Use this 30-day plan as your schedule, then bring the energy into a Wall Baller challenge.
Quick FAQ (So You Don’t Overthink It)
How long should each session be?
Start with 10 minutes. If you’re consistent and you want more, add time—just don’t make “more” the reason you skip.
What if I miss a day?
No meltdown. Don’t restart the whole month. Just continue with the next day and mark it honestly on the scorecard.
Is this for beginners?
Yes—especially with the time cap and simple constraints. Beginners should stand closer to the wall and slow the pace until catches are controlled.
Do I need a specific type of wall?
No. Just use a safe, sturdy surface in a space where stray balls won’t cause problems.
Your move: screenshot the scorecard, start Day 1 today, and when you’re ready to level it up into a real competition—take a Wall Baller challenge.
